Lilienthal Berlin goes out of this world with new release

Lilienthal Berlin has released a new limited edition piece, the L1 Meteorite.

The centerpiece of the German-based brand’s latest watch is made from a piece of real meteorite.

The Muonionlusta, the name of the meteorite, was found 100 years ago in North Sweden and has now been incorporated into the sub-dial of the luxury watch.

Lilienthal Berlin has adapted the L1’s striking design to the meteorite’s style.

Each piece of meteorite looks slightly different due to its cosmic footprint, determined by the time spent heating and cooling in zero gravity conditions, meaning each timepiece is unique.

The L1 Limited Edition Meteorite is available in two sizes, one with a diameter of 37.5mm and one with a 42.5mm diameter with both versions limited to 999 pieces.
