Audemars Piguet is opening its latest showroom in East Hampton, New York. The luxury beach-side boutique joins two existing AP stores in Manhattan.
The East Hampton outpost, which opens in August, will be run by Material Good, which already works with the brand at its concept store in Lower Manhattan.
US CEO of Audemars Piguet, Antonio Seward, said: “We are beyond excited to partner with Material Good in East Hampton. This latest location will set new standards in customer experience and relationships. Our vision is to foster a truly unique environment, bringing together East Hampton, Soho and Le Brassus.”
In addition to boutiques in New York City, Las Vegas, Bal Harbour and Beverly Hills, this retail addition to one of the world’s most exclusive beach destinations will be a singular shopping experience in the Hamptons.
The new boutique, set in a 3,000 square foot space, comprises design elements such as white oak flooring, brushed bronze finishes and an abundance of sunlight which aims to evoke the spirit of East Hampton while remaining true to the ethos of the company that is synonymous with luxury timepieces.
Material Good is known for its avant garde retail concept in Lower Manhattan where customers are welcomed to a sumptuous loft apartment styled with luxury furniture, fine art and objet d’art. Watches are not so much sold as introduced into intimate conversations over a glass of champagne.
The Hamptons outlet is expected to be a hybrid of the Material Good model and a more traditional, but contemporary, Audemars Piguet showroom.
